In LvS we had a great way of giving feedback to students: comments per subtitle, and some icons (a green tick, a bell etc)
I relly miss those when I try to give my students feedback on their work.
Now I use the narrator column so that they can identify which subtitles I have corrected. But it's not very nice.
Could we have comments per subtitle?

Hi Roula,

What abut the Comments Visible field at the back of the Dubbing and Revoicing Component? It's not as colourful as the LvS one, but it's OK for short comments. It would be great if we could incorporate some icons there. Sorry, what is the narrator column? (maybe the same thing).

Thanks Laura - the problem is that comments are not saved yet,  in the activity - George is working on it.
There is also a "role" column (you can identify the speaker there). This one is saved

Could indeed add a "*" character to the Role column as a notice that a caption has an issue and add a text area for the teacher comments where you add times and respective comments in the form

will soon add functionality to Text component to autoscroll based on Time (useful for Transcripts) but also for keeping all comments at one place like that

when Comments column is changed to be storable in Captions component. Looking into using another format internally than SRT, maybe WebVTT to embed comments in the captions file and be able to export them together. Another option is to save in the activity archive (in the subarchive for the Image component that is) a text file of the above format with all the comments. Of course will be able to import/export comments in that case from the Captions component to an external text file. Maybe that is easier than banging my head with the poor support for per-caption comments of captioning file formats
