if you mean connecting via FTP to the server (you can't do remote desktop anyway), there is no problem since I can always change your password later



however I'm connecting via remote desktop since I have my PC



for clips we can't have private galleries that do smooth streaming - encoding is a huge burden on server resources and I can't have misuse bring it down. Also, using clips without encoding them for smooth streaming (that is as files for progressive download) puts a lot burden on the server when multiple users are connected to a video file and doesn't yield good quality to users (similar to how they'd have issues if multiple users are using a dropbox shared resource)
