regarding this thread:
- indeed I will look into adding an index column (hidden by default) probably today (PLEASE REMIND ME IN CASE I FORGET TO)
- didn't have any progress with links to specific captions in the text component, but you can now show the Comments column per-caption and it will store it in the activity (due to a bug, please make sure that captions with a value at Comments column don't have the same [StartTime,EndTime] pair)
- the Clip component should remember the audio volume when saved. Clicking Mute, then saving the Clip component, should load it with Volume=0 (and not Muted) the next time I think, but still it has similar effect in that the video starts with no Volume. You can't throw away the audio so that users can't find it unless you upload to the gallery (or embed a local video file in the activity) that has no audio. ClipFlair Studio is not doing any video editing (wasn't designed to do such, plus can't access any Video encoders from Silverlight unless you implement them in managed .NET code [which would also make the app size bigger and longer to download btw]). There are several free video editing and encoding tools around for WMV and MP4
