known issues with e-mail notifications:
1) at user profile in edit-mode, should have option to disable e-mail notifications for a user
2) some notifications (like activation e-mail) say "the MonoX team" at the bottom
3) when editing posts in a forum, after save it sends a new notification to all those subscribed to the topic. This can be annoying if use r does several minor edits separately to a post (many e-mails are sent). Maybe an option for the system to send digest e-mail notifications (maybe just in the case of forums) in one e-mail (say every day, every week etc.) would be nice. User would select that option in their profile, or maybe should have different setting per-forum for a user to select?

any other issues you've noticed with e-mail notifications?

When I receive a notification I would like to see different formatting for the content of the topic, so as to be able to differentiate between the standard e-mail and the content of the topic.

sorry, thought you were saying "content" of e-mail (the e-mail body) - can you copy-paste here what e-mail subject it sents you?

And this is what I would like to see in the email notification I receive. I am exaggerating in the formatting, but just to make the point

The formatted text is not reflected in the notification email.
Anyway, never mind, I'll get used to it
