The Edinburgh video is not working; it does not 'play' in the gallery and it is not properly uploaded in the activity (it seems to be there but it does not play). Can you please check it out?

sorry Noa, I rushed to speak, I had only seen the preview image the test player was showing and thought it had converted OK, just saw it myself a few hours ago. Do you know with which software the video was created?

I'll check it with MediaInfo (http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/) to see if it has something special in its encoding.

I'll try converting it to WMV with SUPER too (http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html - they have the strangest download sequence, have to find the download SUPER text link at the end of the page and after following 2-3 pages you download, obviously cause they make money from the ads shown in the page [their tool is indeed SUPER though in conversion]).

Also if you have the file in other format and you did convert to MP4 yourself, maybe try converting again to MP4 using another tool (e.g. MIRO http://www.mirovideoconverter.com/)

So, it probably is an interlaced (read http://www.100fps.com/
for a thourough treatment on it) or other special file. If it's interlaced there are tools that can do de-interlacing (SUPER probably can)

Cristina, can you try renaming the attachments above to not use punctuated characters? I think you can edit the post and then move the mouse over each attachment and press the pencil icon shown
