Dears,
I do not know where find the image and 3 pdf documents I had asked you to uploaded. Also the pdf docs were only a one page doc and it seems that they are “go” with another way (http://zoo.it.service) that I that tried to know how it works unsuccessfully. I can not move, not even back that was my intention, because I was using these pdf docs and images from dropbox url. Could you help me, please?
Thanks,

The DeepZoom image generation/hosting service from Microsoft is at http://zoom.it

For example, I went to the post where you attached the "Text Abu Dukhan.pdf" and right-clicked the attachment icon, then selected "Copy shortcut" (using Internet Explorer, other browsers may show "Copy link" or "Copy URL" or similar option at the popup menu there). This gives you a URL to the PDF file.

Then you go to http://zoom.it and at the bottom where it says "Create your own. Give us a URL to an image on the web", you paste the URL you got from the PDF (you could use a dropbox url too). Then you press the "Create" button

It processes it and after some moments it takes you to the page:

http://zoom.it/p90k

which shows a DeepZoom version of the PDF as a zoomable image (with more detailed / higher resolution image tiles coming on-demand as you zoom in, so that it comes ultra fast to the user browser)

If you go to ClipFlair Studio and place the Image component in an activity you can press the wrench button on the Image component titlebar and turn it over. There you give the URL http://zoom.it/p90k and then turn over the component again and you can see the zoomable image of the single-page PDF that the zoom.it service has generated and is serving to you

Please try to do similar for the other two PDFs and any other high-resolution images you have (assuming you have sufficient rights to publish them online). For lower resolution images that are small in size you can also post here to put it our gallery as classic image files (for big ones prefer zoom.it because DeepZoom images come faster down the line).

A feature you may have not noticed in ClipFlair Studio is that you can drag-drop Office OpenXML files (.docx that newer Microsoft Word and LibreOffice can save) onto the Text component and it will load the text (not images) from there. You can also drop plain text files (in UTF8/UTF16 - Unicode encoding) onto the Text component to load them

if there is a selection it will replace the selection else it will insert the dropped-in content

if you select and drop multiple files (e.g. drag on the desktop to select multiple .txt files before dragging, or use CTRL+CLICK on each one or CLICK at 1st and SHIFT+CLICK to select part from a list of files [or CTRL+SHIFT+CLICK to add part to current selection of files]), it will insert ALL of them (content will be inserted [thus concatenated] in alphabetical filename order)

if you drop-in a file without .text (the default XAML snippet format in which the Text component saves), or .docx, or .txt (plain Unicode text) file extension, it will be treated as plain Unicode text (so you can drop an .SRT file for example from your desktop onto the TEXT component to see its contents)

added multiselection to Text component OpenFileDialog to merge multiple files at open (already supported drop of multiple text files to merge them)

if there's a selection it will replace that

Hello George:

I can not open pdf documents in my activities now. I have checked if the edit mode was activated and yes, I’m sorry, in two activities it was. (So I will ask you to upload again these two activities in suggest material > cliflair activities. I changed to the view mode). But, apart from this, in other activities in which the mode is the view mode, as Abu_Dukhan, for example, the pdf docs don’t open. The pdf are upload in the Social? I must redo the link?
Thanks

Unfortunately Microsoft is stopping the zoom.it service, so I can make images for them if you wish. You can upload them here

hyperlinks inside the Text component had been broken (not opening other webpages when Text component was in readonly-mode as they should be) after the option to set BackgroundColor of components was added due to a bug in Silverlight (see http://zoomicon.wordpress.com/2014/09/07/fix-hypelinks-not-clickable-in-richtextbox-under-silverlight/)

I just discovered what was causing this and added a workaround to links in the Text component at ReadOnly mode should now open OK when clicked
