the system was showing only avatar icons for those that it considered valid avatars (obviously those that don't use gravatar.com didn't have a valid avatar, but some had [like Agnieska] and it still was considering them invalid

I wasn't able to upload a picture for my profile. I created an accout with Gravatar but couldn't find the way of linking both profiles. Woudn't it be easier to simply upload a picture of ourselves from our computer?
