Yes, on Windows the preferred browsers are Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox and on MacOS-X is Safari

For audio access a dialog is shown to the user where they have to select that they allow it and can check an option on that dialog to remember it.

In case somebody denied access and checked the option to remember it, they can right click in the empty area of a Studio activity and select to see Silverlight settings (they can also find that from Windows Start menu under All Programs / Microsoft Silverlight menu) and remove the entry for ClipFlair Studio at one of the tabs there so that next time they try to record it will ask them again for permission

Not allowing them to save the activity is strange, maybe they tried to save at a folder that their OS is configured to not allow? Best place for saving on Windows is either the user's desktop or the Documents folder of the user. Maybe they tried to save to the root folder of the disk and their machine was configured to not allow it or to some readonly disk or something?

also they can use PRINTSCREEN key (PRTSCN, may need to hold down [Fn] key when pressing it in laptops if the word PrtScn is coloured or in a box) to copy a screenshot to the clipboard, then paste it in a Word document or in Paint or similar drawing program and send the screenshot to see what message they're getting

also, if the ClipFlair error dialog is shown, it has a Details section where you can click and select all text (say with CTRL+A or the mouse) and press CTRL+C to copy that text and send it to me to see what error occurred and where in the code

Update: there is a COPY button for the message+details now at the Error Dialog that one can use to put the error to the clipboard so that they can send it via Social's contact form etc.
