But it is not available at this address: http://social.clipflair.net/Gallery/Activities.aspx
which is where the students will look for it when accessing the Clipflair platform, is it possible to have it there too?

This list includes only activities with metadata  http://gallery.clipflair.net/activity . It is the same as http://social.clipflair.net/Gallery/Activities.aspx
Metadata comes from activity description forms.
It is indeed confusing to have so many lists. I hope it's fixed soon.

That's fine. Cristina and I are working on the activity and we'll send you the activity description form asap, so that the activity can be stored among those with metadata.

Jennifer, I have uploaded the new Garibaldi activities on the Gallery.
As for the metadata, I am copying my message from redmine in case you didn't receive a notification:

Every material in the Gallery, activities, clips etc. needs to be accompanied by information about it, AKA description, tags, metadata (=data about the data).
This info is used to accompany an activity or clip in the Gallery, to make it searchable and so that the user knows what the material is about.

Up to now, we have been using google forms to describe activities and videos (AKA activity template, description form...). So, when you enter http://gallery.clipflair.net you see SOME of these tags.

Soon we will be able to insert this info for every material by using the Studio and not the external forms. George is working on that now. We will also be able to view the rest of the description/tags/metadata when we click on a material.

Until this integration ready, when we upload a new activity on the gallery, it only appears in another list: http://gallery.clipflair.net/activity/list.html. The new activities do not have tags or thumbnails.
The same goes for new uploaded videos, they only appear here: http://gallery.clipflair.net/video/list.html (the videos get automatic thumbnails)

So we're asking for your patience at this point, to wait until the integration is finished. Then we will add our tags/descriptions there instead of the google forms.

Jennifer, the data from the google form (activity description) you just completed, will be made public to copy and paste, so your effort has not been wasted.

I was going to fill in the clip description for the other video (Video_TIM_CamiciaBiancaDiGaribaldi) but is not in the dropdown menu of the form. Should I wait for the integration to be finished?

It's up to you. You can fill it now and then copy and paste it when the system is ready to receive metadata :)
